Other Big Game

In Spain we have the largest number of different huntable species in all of Europe.
They are distributed throughout our country and can be easily combined with ibex hunting.

RED DEER

It is considered the king  of big game hunting in Europe. The beauty  of his movements and the impressive stags, fully surpass to  any  other kind of deer.

MOUFLON

The mouflon is  very spread over all  spanish hunting areas. It lives in a wide variety of terrains from the cork forest to mid mountain over 1.500 m.

It is a very challenging sheep , making the approximation difficult to  the hunter, making  one of the nicest stalking which can be realized. 

The best trophies are usually hunted in Andalucia, being a few of them “top ten” in the Trophy  record books

BARBARY SHEEP (AOUDAD)

This big sheep, original from the Atlas mountains in Marocco (North Africa), was introduced in the southeastern areas of our country in the 70 years. The best place to hunt it is in the Sierra Espuña National Game Reserve, and the sorrounding areas (Sierra Espuña, Sierra Maria, etc). 

The stalking develops in open lands,  mid mountain where vast pine woods and rocky mountains joins in an ashtonishing  landscape.

FALLOW DEER

The fallow deer is a very desired specie among  hunters due to the the beauty of its trophy. Is is not as shy and cautious as red deer but oldest animals migth become kind of difficult to stalk. 

The best trophies of fallow deer can be found in Andalucia, in the South of Spain. The great trophies obtained  in Andalucia can beat the best record trophies from Rumania and Bulgaria.

ROE DEER

In a short  time the roe deer   has turned into one of the most  emblematic pieces of our country,  with thousand of followers  due the  difficulties to hunt it , and also because the opening season  is in the spring and summer  where most of  other big game species  are forbids . 

Actually spain is producing the biggest trophies in Europe.
